We will shortlist and select 5 students from grades 8-12. The students will be trained to conduct 5+ activities/experiments and organise the camp in our school for every month. Welcome to the Microbit Innovator course — a project-based journey into the world of smart systems, automation, and real-world tech solutions. This course takes students beyond the basics, empowering them to think like inventors, engineers, and changemakers.

Through hands-on challenges, students will:

💡 Control LEDs and motors with precision using Micro:bit’s Driver Board

🧭 Detect motion and design automated alarm systems

🗑️ Build a Smart Dustbin that opens on approach

🌡️ Measure and display heat data

🌱 Create automatic plant watering systems that respond to soil moisture

👀 Use IR and PIR sensors to react to movement and surroundings

🔧 Microbit Kickstarter – Think It. Code It. Build It. Starting with the basics of MakeCode and Micro:bit, students dive into interactive challenges using the LED Matrix, buttons, sensors, and pins. They’ll create emotion badges, make jukeboxes sing, and explore how digital inputs can trigger reactions from lights to buzzers. With each module, learners gain a deeper understanding of inputs, outputs, logic, and decision-making. By the end of the course, learners will not only understand how to build projects like rock-paper-scissors games, virtual pets, and radio messaging tools, but they’ll also think like young engineers — using algorithms, flowcharts, and thoughtful debugging.
